It gets fire easily

We've bought this toaster oven twice, and both times it finished catching fire with food inside... There should be a malfunction in its build... It has good capacity, good size for medium and small kitchens, several functions, looks good while new... But, it's complicated to clean inside and the quality of the materials is poor (the buttons will peel off after some wear) and doesn't match with brand's prestige

Good product but plug is a safety issue as it ages

I received an earlier version of model TOA-60C as a gift, just noticed the 'polarized blades' are not centered in the plug and the plug is heating up. I will not use my toaster oven/ air fryer any more due to a safety concern. Otherwise this model has served the family very well and we used all the features. How can I use the serial number to confirm it's age to see if it is still under warranty?
