aworks perfectly

I used this product to seal my maintenance room floor. With some proper preparation, like sanding the floor prior the product goes on perfectly. Yes it does smell because it's not latex and it actually works. It does take quite a while to dry. I would use it again and recommend.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Use brush ✔️ roller 👎

Must go with brush,i taped a big brush to the end of a pole. I used a blower and powerwasher to prepare 24hrs prior to application. Wore a respirator when applying. Came out nice 👌

Yes, I recommend this product.

Hi Danny, Thanks for the review and the awesome tips! Love the brush-on-a-pole hack — glad to hear it turned out great. Nice work and thanks for choosing our paint! Premier

Why why?

Why why is it that the paint doesn’t go on the same with brush or roller. Did a small furnace room with a brush - brilliant, did a Basement floor with a roller - disgusting . Lighter not even spread , just overall horrible. Good for small brush applications .

Would not recommend

Would not recommend. I tried contacting the manufacturer several times and was unsuccessful. Talk to Canadian Tire support and follow their instructions but it still tends to peel off. This is not a good product in my opinion. Also, for some reason it went up five dollars over the last few days in price now it’s really not worth it. That’s my opinion.

  • A: hello Allan, yes, you could use a good roller but if there are lots of holes / divots, a brush would get in deeper; but if not too pocketed, its certainly OK. thanks

  • A: Sorry for just seeing this now Jeremiah but because it's an oil based paint, it took roughly 3 days to cure. All depends on weather & temperature. Just follow the directions on the can

Q: Can Contractor Grade porch and floor paint be used over a Granite Grip by Behr? The Granite Grip has peeled in places where water fell off of car.

  • A: It should be able to. It's oil paint and it covers very well and is thick. Being oil paint it withstands water pretty well and will last longer. I used this on siding and it holds pretty well, so I'm guessing it will do great on a porch. Haven't seen any cracking yet and it went through the winter.
