This Coleman air mattress exceeded my expectations. It is very easy and quick to inflate thanks to the built in 120v electric pump;it’s ready to use in just a few minutes. The double height is a big plus,as it feels much more like a real bed rather than sleeping close to the floor.
The surface is soft and comfortable,providing good support throughout the night. It does not lose air while you sleep,which is something I really value in an air mattress. It is perfect for both guests at home and trips or camping when extra comfort is needed.

Q: Can it be inflated/deflated in the absence of an electric source? like for camping, if we do not have a power source can it be still inflated & deflated using one of the regular hand air pumps?? Thanks

Q: Is it made of heavy gage PVC? I had to throw my last one out because my cat played on it and punctured it left and right. I keep her nails trimmed; it's not like they are little razors. I think an air mattress should be able to withstand a kitty taking a tumble on it!

Q: Can this bed be outdoors for extended period of time? Is the pump protected from light rain exposure? I am looking to use it under a gazebo for the summer months.

A: Hello! Thank you for your question. Please be advised that this bed can be used outdoors, but it is not recommended to be exposed to the weather. Typical use is meant to be indoors, which would include use in a tent. The pump is not waterproof. Keep in mind that PVC is likely to stretch if exposed to the sun or heat.
