It took me about 6 hours to install on our deck. Very sturdy. I bolted it to the deck so the wind will not take it. Good value.

so far so good, I bought this for my back yard and installed it over the hot tub, I was worried that it wouldn't be very stable but it is great

Hail damage

This unit is terrible in hail weather areas. Hail storm the other night wrecked every roof panel. Not a good item to have in Alberta.

Difficult to Assemble

I am not a handyperson and it was very difficult to assemble the frame but I hit a major roadblock. I cannot get the outer panels to fit. I am afraid I may need to tear it down and reassemble it. I tried to see if I could get installation services but since I opened the box it was too late. Installations should be relatively easy to perform and this one is more complicated than the past couple gazebos with canvass roofs I have assembled. I would love to enjoy it but I am getting to the point I would just throw a generic canvass roof on top.

Q: What height is it from the ground to the roof on the edge? I would like to tuck it under the eave on the house on the deck but am limited in height and need to know if it will fit under.

Q: Have a problem assembling the roof frame. The lower cover (L2) has 4 mounting holes that are raised above the adjacent 4 holes. When assembling the roof frame should the top slanting bar (J2) bolt to the raised holes or to the flat portion of L2?

Q: Clarkson Gazebo Roof Assembly I cannot get the outer roof tiles to fit. They seem to be sticking out far beyond where they should be. I have had a dozen friends take a look at it - short of a tear down and reassemble I do not know how to make it fit.

A: Hi Dave, We would not recommend just taking off the roof panels because it is alot of work to do, and it might cause damages to the unit.
