I’m surprised how many ppl are saying they like this grill. It’s a waste of money. It takes 20 mins to heat up and will MAYBE get to 375 degrees, which isn’t hot enough to properly grill on. Then, when you put food on, it drops to 300 and never recovers. It’s good for hot dogs, that’s about it. You’re better off just using a foreman grill.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: What's the max temperature can it reach? Searing proper steaks require 550F, wondering if it can reach that, to avoid "cooking" beef instead of searing.

A: It will get to 500F and does good for cooking streaks. But the one thing. It’s electric so it works similarly to an oven so when you open lid it takes a bit to heat back up. But it is a good small deck grill that’s with a little trail and error makes some amazing food

A: Find it on Canadian Tire website, choose what store you want to pick it up from, pay for it & they will send you a confirmation & then another email when it's ready for pickup. You drive to the store, show them the confirmation email, you park in the designated spots, they bring it out & put it in your trunk and you'll drive away.

Q: How long is the electric cord and can an outdoor extension cord be used? Thanks

A: Do not use 16 or 18 gauge extension cords. Damage to household wiring and/or fire could result. For best grill performance use of extension cord is not recommended. If you must use an extension cord for your safety use only: - Use only indoor type with 3 prong grounding plug, rated for 15 amperes or more, approved by UL, marked with a W-A and a tag stating "suitable for use with outdoor appliance". - Use the shortest length extension cord required. Do not connect 2 or more extension cords together. A 12 or 14 gauge extension cord of 50ft or less is acceptable. - Keep connections dry and off ground. - DO not let cord hang over edge of table top or other items where it can be pull by children or tripped over.
