Q: in montreal we had a ice storm and knocked our power for 4 days -- spend most of the time checking sump pump -- does this unit have enough power to run the sump pump ?

Q: Is there an exhaust attachment so you can vent the exhaust outside if your running it inside the garage.
2 years agoA: There is a built in muffler on this unit. I do not see a way to reliably and safely enclose it such that you could affix ducting to run the exhaust outside of a building in a manner that would be permanent and safe for occupants in the building. This unit is meant to NOT meant, nor was it designed, to run in an enclosed space.

3 years agoA: The generator operates at a fairly consistent noise level that we mute with a box shield that is open and properly vented. Even when extra load is put on the generator the noise is acceptable.
