Please ensure to disconnect the power at the source before replacing light bulbs to avoid any risk of electric shock.
To install the bulbs correctly, lightly hold the socket in one hand and twist the bulb counter-clockwise to remove a used bulb. When installing a new one, screw it into the socket clockwise until the top of the socket forms a tight seal around the light bulb and makes solid contact with the socket. This might feel a bit tight, which is normal to prevent moisture from getting into the socket.

Defective product

Out of the entire strand of lights (which you have to assemble yourself), only TWO bulbs were working. Highly disappointed in the quality. Usually one or two bulbs don't work (and you use the replacements if you have); but all BUT two are not working?!
No, I do not recommend this product.
