Q: winter outside use would be used to seal around a air condition formed cover. is this tape winter friendly

A: Thank you for your question! For best results the tape should be applied to a clean, dry surface with a surface temperature of at least 10C.

Q: Does it have any insulation property by itself? If not any other tapes that do? Trying to stop patio door aluminum frames from forming ice/frost inside the house when it's -30 out. Can I use this to cover/insulate the metal frames on the outside? Thanks.

A: This tape does not add any insulation value. There is a complete line up of weatherstrip that comes in a roll with adhesive on one side. Have a look at the weatherstrip section for complete assortment.
