i bought this for my rv. it is small and works to control humidity.

Q: Do you wait until crystals are completely dissolved to refill?
4 years agoA: No. The desiccant sits above a chamber. It is just air when you open it. Gradually it fills with water that drips from the desiccant in the tray on top. When the water rises, you drain off the water and keep using it. After w while the desiccant will gradually etch away. Either add more that you buy separately or get a whole new can. You can store them by toasting the desiccant to dry, washing the container, returning the desiccant and sealing air tight.

Q: How long does the product last? I want to put it in my pontoon when wrapped for the winter , will it last until spring?
a year agoA: Depending on humidity. I keep one in my truck all winter. Keeps the moisture down. Never had to replace one before spring. Make sue you put it a a tray of some sort in case of overflow.
