I'm typically the dogger while hunting and get pretty sweaty hiking through the mountains. When I stop for a water break at each watch I use to get a bit chilly and would have to start moving again to warm up. This jacket kept me warm even while standing still with a good sweat on. It's super lightweight and stays warm when wet. I wore just a long sleeve t-shirt and stayed very warm while walking at Temps down to -3°C.
