Keep tap water healthier and tasting better for longer with Brita Longlast Pitcher Replacement Filters. These filters are made with pleated filter technology for longer life compared to standard Brita filters. Like all Brita filters, they are made to remove harmful substances from your drinking water, like mercury or lead. The pull top cap on these filters makes insertion and removal easy, while the filters themselves are effective with up to six month of regular use.

Have used a Brita pitcher for years, but stick with the regular filters. These do not last six weeks, instead of the six months claimed. That's with three people in the house.

With the Elite filter our water has NO TASTE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We switched from the "basic" white Brita filter to the Elite filter and there is a HUGE difference in the taste of the water. I couldn't believe it could work as fast as it does and as GOOD as it does. The water where we live tastes AWFUL to me but now there is NO TASTE!! We won't be going back to our old "basic" filter.

Had to replace filter in half the advertised time

The filter works good but I just bought it in June and had to replace the filter 2 weeks ago as it was no longer filtering water anymore. I assume it got clogged up, so it must be doing a lot. Or they were wrong advertising a 6 month life for a more expensive filter. In any case, the filter lasted only 2.5 - 3 months so that was misleading. I am tracking the new filter as well to see if it was a one off, or just false advertising.
