rubber auger snow blower

I bought one rubber auger same as this one, it does not work for Quebec, it is for California or Texas, Florida.
I do not know why Canadian Tire sell this junky product, it broke my trust!!! I just use once and did not work for even a small layer snow. I cannot get return it because I used it once only.
Canadian tire is so bad to sell this junk product which never work in Canada's weather.
imagine the auger is rubber not metal!!!
be careful buying anything in Canadian Tire now, all go to crooked, not service, just try to fool customers as other place!!!

Works great but Canadian Tire does not carry parts

I bought this Blower three years ago & am very pleased with the performance & reliability but the cons are that Canadian Tire does not carry /sell the Rubber Paddles that spin to throw the snow.These wear down to a wear line shown on the paddles then you have to replace them. They might last two winters or might only last one if you do a lot of snow clearing. The Rubber Paddles are very hard to find online & are very expensive . There is a plastic Scraper that slides along the ground that will wear out around the same time as the Paddles.
I paid $350 to replace my Rubber Paddles & Scraper Bar & this will be an expense that you will need to pay every couple of years.
Not sure why Canadian Tire does not sell these parts or at least should provide access online.

High power snowblower
a month ago
I have bought this snowblower about 4-5 years ago and it served me well so far with minimal maintenance. It worked easily with all wet snow and also with heavy snow pushed by snowplow to my driveway. I like that it is relatively small and relatively simple machine, easy to maintain, not many moving parts...but yet pretty powerful (208cc). I bought another one for my son as a present.

A: I was really impressed with how this machine handled the piles left by the snow plow on my driveway even after it had been rained on for most of a day. I didn't expect it to be able to throw that heavy of snow but it handled it no problems at all!

A: It has a 4 cycle engine which uses regular gas. An annual oil change is necessary. Great purchase.. Mine starts with one pull every time and is very powerful.

A: Yes it will damage composite deck. It will leave light scrapes and black marks wherever it goes. I had to purchase skid plates and modify the blower to raise it so that the auger doesn't touch the deck.
