Pricey, awkward first few uses and the tamper has to be removed from its' place to use it. It is almost impossible to see how much is in the basket till you remove it. However no more overflowing during filling basket and the new routine comes quickly. The reward is less clean up.

Too Limited

If you have the Cafe Roma, don't buy this it's too big for the portafilter. I had high hopes for this. Bought this, tried it twice and quickly learned it wasn't suitable for my Breville Portafilter. The problem ? My Breville Espresso Maker is the Cafe Roma with a smaller than 54mm portafilter. I did a test fit with my portafilter before purchase and it seemed to fit. When I actually tried using it with my grinder I quickly learned it was much too loose. Lost some coffee through the cracks. My main complaint with the Dosing Funnel is that there aren't different sizes available, even though Breville's espresso machines have different size portafilters. Even an adapter of sorts for the dosing funnel to step it down a size would help. If this was offered in matching sizes to Breville's espresso machines, it'd likely receive a more favorable review. Great idea... too limited.
