Q: Why does the product stop grinding after 1 year of owning? I've enjoyed this product but all of a sudden it stopped grinding. Canadian Tire is powerless to exchange given it's just over 1 year. Wouldn't recommend buying

Great Counter Top Grinder

I researched this Grinder with many sources before deciding on this one Versus the competing one on Sale. Most Grinders of this style with a removeable basket/bin suffer the same problem with Grind Dust. It is bacause the Ground Coffee is expelled from the Grinder into the Bin which does not have a positive seal to the Grinder. A silicon ring or spout would solve this problem. Also depending on how dry your environment is the Grind Dust may be attracted by static. Anyhow, Works Great and looks good with the same General Appearance as my Pods and Grounds Coffee Maker. Lots of easy to use settings. If at all not pleased with Grind size can just run it thru again briefly. Another note is the top of the Grider Disk is removeable to clean and has notches in it that when rotated it locks in place. When putting it back together make sure to line up the notch and twist to lock in place. Overall works Great and am happy with the purchase and support from Braun.

Stopped Working After a Year and a Bit

I thought buying one of the more expensive burr grinders would be a smart move. The grind was ok for regular coffee, but for espresso it was not very good. The grinder is messy but easy to clean. The big problem is that my grinder stopped working a year and two months in. I guess I will have to buy a new one since the warranty is only a year.

I am unhappy with this coffee grinder, which works quite poorly. I wish I had checked reviews more carefully. Not only does it make a huge mess every time you take the coffee out, but the grind adjustment simply does not work.
