4 years agoA: No, it does not make a beep when done. However, the heating element (I think) makes a constant 'pop' sound, which I'm hoping settles down in time.

A: Hi Rachel, the default setting for the hot plate to stay on is 2 hours. This however can be adjusted to stay on from either 15 minutes up to 5 hours. Thank you.

3 years agoA: You certainly can, it produces hot (not quite boiling) water. (but don't use it for both coffee and tea, or your tea will not taste good as it'll be tainted by coffee usage.). Best to stick with a kettle.
