A: No, it has garden hose threads and they are not compatible. Your shower head uses straight (parallel) 1/2 NPS threads. There is a valve on the market that is designed to be used behind the shower head. It stops 98% of the water but drips a bit - this is required by the plumbing code to prevent scalding. Retailers who sell it would put it in the bathroom supplies area. If not Canadian Tire then check the other major hardware retailers.
