Cat Would Vomit After Eating

I fed my cat Indoor Salmon for about 2 years then all of a sudden, she tried to bury it like her potty box, then she would throw up. Each time she would eat some, vomit. I was able to return the bag and purchase a new brand that she loves and has been eating for about four months now. Perhaps the recipe was changed?
