Q: Is the brewed coffee nice HOT? Some coffee makers don't heat the water quite hot enough.

A: We found the coffee to be warm-hot, and sitting on the burner does not heat it up more. We have to use the microwave. Very disappointed. I think that the cyclone action cools the water a little. Was worse when we were using the "strong" button. I think that then it just takes longer to add the water, then it cools down even more. Sad as we like the design.

Q: How do you keep the hot plate on for longer than 120 minutes without starting another brew cycle?

A: I just restart the brew system. In a minute or so the timer restarts as there is no water in the brewer it might give a puff and resets

Q: How do I get the keep warm function to display clock time instead of countdown

A: As far as I know, it counts down 90 minutes, and only displays the 90 minute warming count down, the only way to cancel it is to shut off the machine to display the clock

Q: What type of paper filter does it use? Sometimes I prefer a disposable filter.

A: I use a basket filter (10 - 12 cup size). I tried the reusable filter that comes with the coffee maker, but I don't like the sediment. One thing I love about this product is the STRONG feature. I usually only make a 1/2 pot of coffee at a time. The STRONG button makes sure it's not too weak. I take it off for a full pot.

A: I haven't used all the functions (for example, timer function) yet, but there is no beeping sound.

Q: Can you choose what size pot to brew? Ie. If I'm only making coffee for one person do I still have to brew a full pot?
