Dependable performance, but unplug regularly

I have an older model of this toaster oven. It toasts fine, and you can get good repeatability. It works almost like it should. The timer is the issue. Sometimes it shuts off the heating element but does not ring the bell. Sometimes it keeps the element on but does not continue running the timer. Sometimes timer, bell, and shutoff all work correctly. This simple toaster oven is one that you should unplug after every use, or make sure that the elements are off when you are done using it. Heat control is very rudimentary, being on or off. The oven capacity is decent, it being a fairly square oven.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The interior of our toaster ovens have been zinc-coated since the latter part of 2011. Our toaster ovens do not feature nonstick coating on any of the parts or interior.
