Not a good wet or dry vaccum

For something that bills itself as specialized for pet hair, it's terrible. First, it does not have enough power to pick up pet hair off carpet, it just pills it up and leaves it behind for you to pick up. It frequently clogs when vaccuming with water/solution in the tank, the battery doesn't last long enough to complete vaccuming anything larger than a small space. Avoid this one.

leakage and worst machine ever

I bought this machine just 3 months ago. while vaccuming there is a pool of water leaking. I am unsure as to why. I wojld not recommend this and cdn tire wouldn't take accountability and provide a refund

Not worth the price!

I use this vacuum on both carpet and hardwood floors. It doesn't pick up all the dirt off the carpet even with multiple passes. It doesn't get close to the edge of the wall from the front or the side so at least 1 inch is left dirty and dry. It will leave dirt/dust clumps as you are mopping. It is nice that you can vacuum and mop at the same time but often leaves dirty streaks on the floor. I wanted to replace another vacuum but now I have to use both so it hasn't made cleaning any easier! I wish I could return it.

Q: Just to confirm, can you use it to clean an area rug with water or only dry?

A: Yes, it is not a steam cleaner (no heat), but it will clean a rug with water, or you can use it as a vacuum. FYI, the canister is very small, and it does not have very good suction for picking up pet hair, etc. Although I do like this machine, I ended up buying a regular vacuum due to constantly having to clean out the canister, and it not picking up basic pet hair (okay, maybe heavy pet hair, my ginger cat sheds a lot).
