The BestAir Golden Solution Treatment helps control issues that can plague your humidifier. The Bacteriostatic formula inhibits the growth of odour-causing bacteria within your wick or filter humidifier, keeping it smelling fresh. The treatment also helps control hard water mineral buildup that can clog parts and reduce efficiency over time. Simply add the solution to your humidifier's water reservoir as directed and let it work its magic. For use in wick and filter humidifiers only, the treatment is not recommended for ultrasonic or vapourizer type humidifiers.

Excellent product, but the price is high!

I've been using this product in my Bionaire humidifier for years. It does exactly what it claims and will extend the life of filters and, probably, the unit itself. However, the price jump on this product is unnerving. I haven't found a cost-effective alternative, but if I do, I may have to reconsider.
