Didn't work well with my tire compressor

What do you get trying to use a compressor that draws 8a with an extension rated for 5a? A blown fuse that's what lol. Compressor drew too much power for this extension, but it should be fine for most applications....

    Yes, I recommend this product.

This was used in my 16 foot bowrider to run a 12 volt line from the battery in the back of my boat to the front where I connected a video recorder, so I could run it all day. Worked great.

Needed continuous 12v power at the front of our RV and the always on outlet was at the back so the cord worked perfectly.

Q: Is it possible I got a faulty item? We plugged it into the 12V plug in an F-150 and the little light never came on and there was no power to it?

    1 Answer
    • A: Usually if the car plug has the power, plug the extension cord to the car plug, the indicator light would turn on immediately and ready for use. Please kindly check whether your car plug has the power, if yes but the extension cord has no power, then the extension cord would be faulty one and pls exchange a new one.

Q: Is it safe if I replace the 5 amp fuse for an 8 amp fuse due to my device requires 6.7 amps?

    1 Answer
    • A: It’s not recommended to replace 5A fuse with 8A fuse because the whole product is designed for 5A current. If you use electrical appliances more than 5A, there is a risk of the electric wire or other parts overheating.
