Worked very well.

I used this to create a fully lit lantern in a Christmas wreath arrangement and it worked perfectly. I was able to wire a plug and link it to the related Christmas lights and the leads were long enough to appropriately insulate and waterproof the setup.

I just bought this. It will work to repair the lamp but the leads are 8" long not 12" as stated so I have to solder on extensions to make them long enough.
