Aqua-Dynamic's galvanized grey steel pipe nipple connects two pipes, keeping flowing water or gas contained. The 1 1/2 inch male threaded ends provide a snug and secure fit that can handle pressures up to 150 psi and temperatures ranging from minus 4 to 572 degrees Fahrenheit. The Schedule 40 rating indicates the robust, thicker steel pipe wall able to withstand higher pressures and temperatures, yet the 6 inch length remains relatively compact for easy installation and storage.
