Q: Can I put it in oven? How much heat can it bare?
17 years agoA: Manual reads the glass bowls can take up to 415 F in gas or electric conventional or convection ovens. I tested that and it worked.

Q: made of is it glass or plastic
18 years agoA: Bowls are made of tick and solid glass Lids are made of plastic. Lids are very very hard to open. Yes you read well a double "very very hard". It's painful on the fingers. Your girlfriends with long nails will damage or brake nails. I found an easier way to open the lid though, I use a spoon, squeeze the spoon between the lid and the glass bowl and lift the lid with the spoon. Glass bowl is made in USA, but the print on the lid reads that the lid are made in China. My Canadian Tire has the red lid, I read somewhere on the internet that the blue lid are easier to open than the red lid. The plastic use for the red lid is too hard, I wish they use a more flexible plastic. Lid easy to close though.
