Love these planters!

I was a little skeptical about these because of the reviews but I’m glad I decided to try them anyway. I haven’t had any of the problems mentioned in other reviews plus they look great in front of my house! I’ve had many compliments from my neighbours. The best part is that they are made in Canada!

Had a hole and not sealed

I had a hole in it! So it is no longer self watering. I didn't find out until after I was fiinished and two days later it was stolen because it was so light you could walk away with it. Never buy it again.

They need reinforcing.

I loved the look of the planter. I was disappointed that the corners on the bottom leaked . I had purchased 4 and 3 were defective. I think the corners should be reinforced. Otherwise they are very nice. I had to keep going back and exchanging them till I found some that didn't leak.

Q: How would you drain the planter before winter, with no drain plug hole in the base? Turning it over seems difficult if you have permanent plantings in them.

A: Yes, this planter can be used all season long. Because this is a self watering planter, It would be suggested to drain the planter in the winter so the reservoir does not freeze if it is full of water. This may cause the planter to bulge, or lose shape over time.
