What are bull bars on trucks for?

Bull bars were originally developed to protect the front of a truck during collisions with animals on rural roads. A bull bar protects vital engine components at the front of your truck, such as the radiator, grille, and front bumper. Their primary function is to protect, but they can also be used to improve the appearance of your truck.

Are grille guards legal?

The laws and regulations regarding the installation of grill guards may vary by province. In Ontario, bull bars are permitted as long as they don’t constitute a safety hazard to vehicle occupants, other vehicles, pedestrians, or property. Before purchasing, review your province’s laws and regulations regarding grille guards and bull bars.
