Q: Does the ergonomic handle assist in lifting snow over a snow bank or is it only good for pushing snow?

A: Then handle is excellent for reducing strain when shovelling snow. The curvature of the handle enables the user to reduce and limit the amount of bending on their lower back when the initial lifting process begins, this help reduce strain on the lower back.
