Poor quality

I bought the snow blower in December, and after only three uses, the chute direction part fell off & not fixable without new part. I emailed the company but never received a response. A few weeks later, paint chipped off the bottom of the scoop, revealing rust underneath. It is stored in garage. While the engine runs well and starts easily and its performance is fair, it’s disappointing that the machine is falling apart after just a month of use and that customer service is unresponsive.

You get what you pay for here, literally barely shoots snow 4 to 6 feet away, used it a couple times and same result. I don’t even bother with it any more. Don’t waste your money like I did.

Good SnowBlower

Bought this two months ago, and I've used it six times so far. Good snowblower. It fired right up initially. I like the control at the end of each run, which turns easily. Blows the snow just fine. It was the lowest priced 24", so I was a bit skeptical. I got my money's worth, good purchase. I asked Yardforce about storage advice, and they answered quickly

its a so so machine

it assembled easy enough out of the box.
likes: light weight and easy to maneuver
: can throw light to medium weight snow 20’ or further
:great on gas
:starts first pull every time
:the 4 forward speeds are good
Dislikes: reverse speed is way to slow
: at least 3 times it never had the power to move it forwards or backwards ( those 3 times i left the snow thrower outsife for the night, hmmm) when i put it inside to warm up it worked fine
This is mot what you expect, even from a cheaper brand i got on sale 2 months ago. I will be going back to customer service and see what they say ??
I will do a follow on here when i get a response from cdn tire.

invest in a bottle of loctite

I got it on sale for $599, so i didn't expect much, but ititerally fell apart after 5 uses. I had to sift through the snow to find missing nuts. The flywheel came apart, the retaining bolt for the speed selector fell off (never found that one), 4 bolts that hold the auger section to the main section came apart, that broke the tiny piece of plastic that holds the mechanism that turns the discharge chute. pretty sure the only bolts still on were the one i put in during assembly. I wish I was making this up. I managed to get it back together (used loctite on everything). Now I have to redirect the chute by hand, which is actually faster. i can't find the retaining nut for the speed selector, so I just kick the lever up and down when i want to change direction.
It's a pretty light mqchine so it's easy lift over cubs or whatever, but that does mean traction is pretty limited.
It starts really easily and reliably with the cord or electric starter so at least it has that.
