Q: Additional reinforcement Is there a way to actually tighten these covers more than the actual ring they come with? I got four yesterday and just found out that one had fallen off not even 24 hours.
15 years agoA: Truth is.... if they ARE difficult to put on, then yes they'll stay, the trick is to put them on correctly. While the previous answer to your is essentially correct, proper installation is key. I had bought a set 3 yrs ago, and had them stay on the entire time. This is however because i do alot of my own work on the car. check the ring first to make sure it hasn't move during shipping and carefully place them on,. the ring being the most important part of the assembly. Sorry to hear you had lost one.
