Questions
Q: I just bought a 3.7L can. After I took off the red cap I found a metal insert inside the spout which does not come out easily. Is there an method of removing this without destroying it? Should it be kept to seal the can?
6 years agoA: You should be able to use a pair of needle nose pliers to turn the metal insert to remove it. Don't need to keep it after, the red cap works fine for storage.

6 years agoA: Yes, WD-40® helps remove rust by breaking down the bonds between metal and rust. Spray, or soak the rusted surface with WD-40®, enough to thoroughly soak the area. Allow it sit for up to 10 minutes. Clean the rusted item with a wire brush. WD-40® also protects metal surfaces with corrosion-resistant ingredients to shield against moisture and other corrosive elements.
