Wagner Control Pro 130 Power Tank Airless Paint Sprayer

I bought this and it leaked out the bottom all over the floor. So I went out and bought rollers and worked all night to get the job finished. I’m sure they are not all the same but the one I got was no good from the time I opened the box. Maybe I will give one another try some day. Until then it’s rolling rollin rollin. Thank you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just this last weekend I was finally able to unbox my Wagner Control Pro 130. We upgraded our master bedroom closet from wire shelving to a full custom closet. This required a lot of patching and painting work to get the closet ready for the new set. The Wagner Control Pro 130 made the painting portion the QUICKEST part of the project. I am in LOVE with this product. Of all the Wagner sprayers Ive tried and tested this was by far the most efficient, easiest to use and made painting a 120sq foot room take minutes. Setting up and loading the sprayer was super easy. The priming process and getting ready to actually shoot paint didnt take long at all. It also didnt take much troubleshooting to get it ready to paint the walls. I was able to shoot paint at a piece of cardboard to get it all set and this only took about 30 seconds to get it to the spray pattern I liked. Clean up was also super easy. The plastic lining made it easy to rinse out and keep clean - the hose was easy to flush out and it was the easiest cleanup Ive had after painting in a long time. The sprayer did seem to go through a gallon of paint rather quickly. I had to stop and run to Home Depot for another gallon. I wish the box was a bit bigger so I could use it for storage. Getting the hose all wrapped up and back in the unit again in its original state is nearly impossible. So now with the hose and everything all packed up Im not able to close the box. I'll likely need to find another storage solution for it like a tote. Spraying this product was super easy and I was able to go horizontally and vertically without worrying about any lines. It dried really fast and I was super impressed with the coverage and how quickly the paint flattened out.

The first 130 worked for ~3 minutes then failed despite cleaning the entire device and resetting all the components. Returned that and bought second. After about 25 minutes, the nozzle and spray tip blew out on to the wall (broke). Took that back and onto my third sprayer. If this fails, I am trying another brand. I've had good luck with Wagner in the past but the quality has deteriorated

I had a smaller Wagner that worked great for a few years. I abused it and thought it was time to upgrade so that I can better paint ceilings. So, I bought this and I don't regret it. What a fantastic tool and a game changer when you want to accomplish a job quickly with great results. I'm not a pro, just a landlord and quick turn around is essential. Easy to use and operate. I anticipate this lasting many years with proper care!

I bought the pro 130 last summer to paint/stain a fence. Being that I live on a corner its a rather large project to stain. In the past I paid someone else and I stained it by hand once and promised myself to never do that again. The pro 130 cut my time down immensely. Once I was finished I regretted not purchasing it sooner. Painting it by hand it took me a couple of days, with the pro 130 it took me 3 1/2 hours. I absolutely loved it. Its very important to cleacp61n it properly for the next use. Must follow the directions they provide. I look forward to using it again
