This is an excellent, low-cost knife set. The knifes come pre-sharpened and are super sharp (found out the hard way). We received this as a Christmas gift and have been very please with it so far.

Q: Are the blades glued into the handle, or are they all one piece? I purchased knives from Cdn Tire years ago, and over time, the blade (being leaned on to chop), and pierced through the plastic/glue that is found in the handle.
