    We have the small body units (2) and the larger unit for the patio. Doesnt seem to dissuade them from eating us. We have just ordered another type unit that is suppose to attract and kill them. It is so sad to be unable to enjoy the outside when it is beautiful out there!

    Nothing beats my Thermacell when the mosquitoes start coming out. They vanish in minutes and don’t return until I turn the device off. It is so easy and practical. I keep my refill stash full for the season! Great technology for use in camping and hanging out in the backyard, the park or anywhere there are mosquitoes.

    Q: After buying this unit last year, I cannot find refills in stock anywhere in Canada. What gives Thermacell? I emailed you guys asking where I can purchase these but received no response.

    A: Try Amazon, I did and received two refills in two days and they were cheaper than Canadian Tire!

    Q: I purchased this product that came with one refill included. It appears to have liquid left but the wick is dark is it time to replace the cartridge? I have gotten bit the last 2 nights using it.

    A: Hi Darlene, Our rechargeable platform repellent cartridges use Metofluthrin as the repellent active ingredient. You can find this on our website under the support tab.
