i got this as in store clearance for 29.99, the best purchase I have ever made in Canadian tire, the quality of the product is equal or better than the 400$ ones the sad part that its discontinue by the manfetcure

Great for growing with your child

excellent car seat, we had one and when my daughter out grow her other car-seats as she was too tall but did not weigh enough to move to a booster, we purchased two more of these seats. Easy to install, great for rear facing in a small car. does have a large base,

Q: Does this car seat able me to tighten from both sides of the seat, or just the one side, with the included installation belt?

A: The lower anchor will only tighten from one side. It is the left side when the seat is facing you.

Q: What is the height limit for rear facing in this car seat? I need a car seat for rear facing that works for tall children. Please let me know the maximum height limit for rear facing for this car seat.

A: Tru Fit with the upper seat back installed in a rear facing position, is designed for use by children whose: Weight is between 5 and 35 lbs and, Head is 1 inch below the top of the seat. Child must meet both of these requirements to use the Tru Fit. Due to the fact that each child is uniquely proportioned we don't have a height limit.
