Doesn't maintain heat
Control Blinking, No Heat or No power may be an indicator that the product is not receiving enough power from the source.
To fix this problem, please follow these troubleshooting steps in order:
1. Unplug the heating pad from the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds
2. Verify there is no physical damage to the cord, controller, or heating pad
3. Verify the connection between the heating pad and the controller is tight
4. Verify that the power cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Be sure that this heated product is used only on an AC supply circuit of the proper voltage. Do not use with an extension cord. Do not use with generators, power converters or inverters.
5. Try a different appliance (such as a small lamp) in the outlet to ensure the outlet is functional.
6. Try plugging the heating pad into a different outlet to see if it works in a different outlet.

Q: How hot does it get?
5 years agoA: Great question! The surface temperature on all our resistance heating pads, except Soft Touch®, is a maximum of 135ºF - 140ºF.

Q: what is the max temperature it can go to? and what is the auto shut down function at extreme heat to prevent from burning/fire? thanks
4 years agoA: Thank you for reaching Sunbeam® Brand. Our heating pads are engineered to produce heat that will not exceed 176°F when used on the High setting. The auto off function is for safety so the heating pad won't over heat. Have a good day!
