I have mcquire car soap and tried to fill it out. It was next to impossible everything else worked good will get a plastic container to fill it.

Q: How do you fill this? I've tried taking off the soap control knob and filling through there, filling through in the input area (connecting the water line) and from the output area (connecting to the brush). None seem to work for me.

A: The one I have (I purchased from Canadian tire October, 2019) you remove the black Soap Control Knob that says "Soap ON <-->OFF" (I know you mention trying this, but it worked well on my unit) by pulling it straight away from the unit and then fill with soap there - you will see the soap dispenser fill up as you do this. Once the water is on and you push the black lever (looks like a hanging hook more than an on/off switch) the water will begin to flow - you then turn the Soap Control Knob to the ON position. Took me quite a while to discover this was how to fill it, but it works very well. (I know you posted this question 6 months ago, but hopefully others will find this helpful)
