18’ X 30’ Super Max

I have been using Shelter Logic Super Max for several years. I have the complete Canopy, Frame, and Enclosure Kit. We use it to protect our 21’ Wakeboard Boat. That said, these covers last less than a year, in the Southern California Area. I only get about 9 months out of the Canopy Cover, and Enclosure Kit. The sun destroys, breaks down the fabric very quickly. The zippers also break down, and the seams come apart as the sun takes it’s toll. The bungie balls also break down, and fail in the sun. All of this happens about the same time. Unlike the other Shelter Logic Products, there is NO option to upgrade the material/fabric. I am probably expecting too much out of the Super Max product. This cover is used 365 days a year, Sun, Wind, Rain, Dust, etc. I need to build a metal building, which has been the plan, but in the mean time, I keep replacing covers & enclosures. Another snag I have run into is availability, back orders, supply chain issues, etc. A couple of times I have had to order a “Complete Canopy”, just to get our boat protected, because the replacement fabric has been unavailable. Over all, this product is a light duty cover, and not really built to withstand constant sunshine, and wind. The Shelter Tube is probably a better choice….. for a significantly higher price. All that said, and understanding the limitations of the cover, our Custom Built Boat has been preserved for several years.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Strong and Durable

Easy to put up, lasts a long time, though not really good in windy conditions, tarp rips where you hook it to poles, over time

Yes, I recommend this product.

Decent initial quality, poor durability in sunny/warm/hot climates. Fabric breaks down in the sun, and lasts about 9-11 months before it needs to be replaced.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Very good tarp for a its size I wish it was made of heavy duty and ruged material I have found heavy duty tarps in a smaller size from other companies It will last just about a year in the hot summer sun It is very good for my needs just needs to be higher quality and heavy duty material

Yes, I recommend this product.

As a long time owner of shelter logic products who lives in a hurricane area I’ve got to say they’ve been able to ride out many with minimal damage and have extended the life of my Rv and my boats by providing cover from intense sun and weather can't say enough thanks shelter logic😊👍

Yes, I recommend this product.
