Solid construction, does not fit some doors with wide door casing, could be narrower to allow for smaller people where the angled pull up hand holds are.

The hooks aren't long enough (the distance they extend upwards) to reach over my door framing which is standard sized and looks the same size as what's in the product photos. Unuseable.

I bought this to build upper body strength through chin-ups, but I plan to start pull-ups and knee raises, as well. Once in place, it's very secure with four points to disperse body weight. After you're done, it folds flat to use minimal space. You do have to make sure you have door clearance on either side, as well as the door frame lip. I'd also suggest that it'd be a good idea for your ceiling to be 8 feet or higher.

Easy to put on and remove

It works very well. Easy to put on the door and easy to remove it after workout. Does not scratch the wall or door frame. Holds quite steady. Can be folded thus stored conveniently. But make sure that there is some room on both sides of the door. It won't fit for the door that opens up to a narrow hallway.

Q: The doorway where I would put this is 30" wide but the door does not completely open because of a wall so the horizontal clearance is ony 28". Would this fit in 28" doorway?

  • A: Ours is in a doorway that sounds similar. The part where you hang is not on the same side as the door. The narrowest part of the hanger is about 27” and doesn’t interfere with the door. So I think it will work for you too.

Q: I am wondering if it will fit my door. The door frame is 36.5" across and the door way is 30" across.Would this fit? It says up to 30" so not sure.
