Good Microwave bad grill

We've had the microwave for about two years, it works great for all the microwave functions. The inverter tech is awesome. The downside is that with all microwaves, we've had some spills, splashes etc. These splashes have stuck to the grill heater elements (with no easy way to clean them), and if you turn them on now, you get a ton of smoke and a fire starting up fairly quickly. So that's a downside. We've just stopped using the grill feature. Lesson learned, don't forget to cover your food when heating.

Worth it for the Grill function

More expensive than other microwaves, but we bought it to replace our old microwave and our toaster oven. The Grill function works great - cheese on toast in 4 minutes. Re-heating food is also good, much more even than our old one. Defrosting was fairly quick but it still cooks the edges before the middle is thawed. I'd prefer a keypad but don't have any huge issues with the dial. Mostly I really appreciate having only one countertop appliance instead of two. And it looks good so the kids like it.

Does not last long therefore not worth the money

It worked fine for two years and then died. I was very disappointed as my previous microwave lasted 8 years.

J'étais très contente de mon achat mais plus maintenant.
À deux reprises, les éléments ont arrêté de fonctionner.
Moi qui voulais un micro-onde avec la fonction grill.
Faites pas la même erreur que moi.

Q: Does this microwave have a timer feature? My old microwave has a feature where you can use it as just a timer without actually cooking anything. I'd like to replace it with a unit that has the same feature.
