Dry hard tip made this touchup paint useless

I bought this about a month ago. Finally got to doing the touchup but the pen was dry. After a lot of pumping the tip, some paint was starting to flow but in the end the tip was too hard to use. Better to buy a can of spray paint, spray it in a cup and use a proper brush - cheaper too.

The paint would not wick all the way down to the tip of the "pen". After shaking it the tip disappeared, inside the pen or in the driveway, I could not find it. I had to poke inside with a with a Q-Tip and daub the paint on. Not worth 1/10 the price.
