great tires

just got over 150,000km outa these tires, almost at the wear bars. i drive it tough, haul alot of weight, and these are quiet on highway and have enough traction that 4 wheel drive rarely needed in snow. I would love to get the exact same set when I go in tomorrow...gonna get the duramax to do a good smoke show in the morning!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Worst tires ever!

I purchased these tires about 3 years ago brand new. They all leaked thru the bead and were very sensitive to getting punctures. They were too soft and 2 out o 4 tires wore right thru. They keep the same tire name and are on their 3rd complete re-design of the tread, and the latest version is made in a different factory. The old used tires I had with very little tread never punctured or leaked out of the bead. GARBAGE!

Great Tires

I have an 03 F150 and have had Hercules and good year tires and both of those sets ended up with shifted belts. These tires are exceptional value and they are very quiet on the highway. They don't throw stones like so many other tires I have had. I haven't had them long enough to know how they wear but I had a set similar to these on my mustang a few years ago and they lasted me well over 150 000 km. The car wore out before the tires. I have driven in the rain and on snow and ice with no issues at all. They work great on dry too. Most importantly they look good and they don't look cheap!!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great tire for the money

I tow a 30 foot trailer in the summer with these tires, they are more then capable of handling any job, solid side wall, and fantastic tread ware!!, 75000 km and still 50% remaining!! Snow on the other hand..... Get snow tires, as most all season tires are not great in the colder temperatures !! Good value!!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Is this tire all-season rated? 245/60/17 total terrain

  • A: No, This says its a mud and snow tire. So, You can only use it when one or both of those conditions apply. Then you'll have to switch to an all season tire when its not snowy or muddy. Not a good tire.

Q: Quebec Winter Tire Compatability Do these tires meet the specification for winter tires for Quebec roads. The tires have the following on them Total Terrain Radial A/T M+S Quebec Motor vehicle web site says Tires with Mud & Snow rating do not qualify but tires with A/T do qualify.

  • A: yes they can be used till 2014 as long as it has either LT or A/T after 2014 you need the snow flake logo on the side so the BF Goodrich All Terrain is a good example of an all terrain tire that will be accepted after 2014, but i'm sure there are some others out there all terrain but with the snow flake on them.

Q: all information on tire. what ply is this tire & how many km is this tire rated for thanks.

2 Answers
  • A: You need to specify the tire designation. I'm looking at a LT265/70R17 E The designation LT adds considerable load rating and more plys to the tire. The P in the other designation stands for passenger and is not rated as high for load.
