    Heavy duty, may need slight modification

    It works well for most ball joint tasks but getting the legs wide enough to grab around thick suspension parts can be hard. I recommend getting some 5/8" x 5" (or longer) cartridge bolts with nuts to work in place of the short bolts and wingnuts this puller comes with.

    pulled pitman on 2001 dodge ram 3500 24v automatic. Pretty heavy duty stuff and the tool did great.

    Worked perfect for separating my Tacoma’s upper and lower ball joints from the knuckles. Seems to be pretty heavy duty. The adjustability of the arms is very helpful.
