    Great Shocks

I have a 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 WT & the shocks were the original ones, I'm sure of it. We haul a 25' travel trailer & I noticed on our last trip last year, that it was sitting lower than normal from when we first got them a few years earlier so I figured it was time to change the rear shocks. I wanted shocks that were heavy duty & meant to do what we do, so I bought these & have not regretted the decision to buy them! I put them on & I noticed a big difference in the ride right away, much smoother & stayed straighter going down the roads we live on, which are quite twisty & hilly. Towing our trailer, which when loaded weighs approximately 5000 lbs, it was very stable & I found I could increase my speed a bit from previously & the truck stayed smooth & little to no swaying in the trailer or truck. Very happy with the purchase of these shocks & would recommend them to anyone that tows or just wants a smoother ride!

    Blow out easily

I've had a few sets of these. Originally they were guaranteed for life until I went for the third replacement. At that time I was informed they are no longer guaranteed for life and they will not honor Canadian Tire's original warranty. They blow out easily and haven't been subject to excessive heavy loads.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    I just installed them yesterday.

I just installed them yesterday , on my 2001 Ford Explorer 4WD Sport Utility . They make a great improvement in handling !! Muchly needed. Previous owner had not changed shocks at all ; over 200, 000 Kms on truck. I was worried about extra length but I got them in easier than I anticipated . I made sure both wheels were off the ground , with tires on, and I disconnected rear sway bar . I also put top end of shock on board and then compressed with my body wait , and then tightened zip ties around the coil springs ; made it easier to push them up about 3/16 " to fit the bottom in. Once they were in place , and bolted, I then cut the zip ties . I ordered them personally at the desk and they came 5 days early . Thank you Canadian Tire .

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Well worth the dollar

Got a set for a 2002 S10. With OE shocks the rear end saged quite low when loaded on camping trips. (coolers, tents, firewood, you name it.) I got a set of these 5 years ago and made a bigger difference then I was expecting considering the capacity of the truck. Last summer I hauled a loaded 5x8 loaded trailer AND loaded truck bed and it handled very well. Even after 5 years of everyday driving the truck did not sag as much as it did prior loaded with no trailer. After using these, air shocks are not worth the trouble in my opinion.

Better than OEM with lifetime warranty

Purchased these for my 2005 F150 XLT. Installation was quick and simple. Quality of these struts are terrific for day to day use as well as towing. The shocks will lift the rear of your vehicle 1" or so, but eliminates sag in the rear when towing! The shocks themselves are Monroes Sensa-shock which are used in their Quickstruts as well, so the ride quality is not any harsher than OEM ride. Would recommend to any truck owner needing to upgrade their rear shocks in a heartbeat.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
