I bought this product because it was compact and could easily fit on my kitchen counter. I use this food chopper for chopping mostly onions which it does very well in just a few seconds. The blade and clear pastic food chopper container are easy to remove and clean. At first I had some trouble with installing the plastic container and chopping blade back into the machine but soon discovered how to properly align the parts it so it fits into the machine.

Q: how does the lid for the chopper open? I just got one of my own but i'm having trouble with the lid.

A: To remove the lid, simply grip the top of the lid (handle) and twist it counter-clockwise and then lift off lid. If the unit is brand new, it may help to slide the lid back and forth a bit (clockwise, then counter-clockwise), to work it in and make it easier during future use.

A: The Master Chef Mini Food Chopper will chop garlic as finely as the user would like. The user would simply release the ‘pulse’ button, once the garlic has reached the desired consistency. As instructed in the user manual, we advise not place more than 8 peeled cloves in the bowl.
