Missing washers

Bought it when I was in clearance, found out that it was missing a lock washer and a flat washer. Went back to exchange only to find out that the four other remaining ones were all missing the same washers so it is a manufacturer's error

I like it but I don't like how it can't be locked to the vehicle. It's nice how it comes apart but that means less security.

Let’s Go Aero V2 2-Bike Hitch Rack

Unimpressed… I have a class IV receiver (2”) and cannot use a hitch pin to secure the bike rack on my truck…they provide you with a bolt. If I want to spend more money to buy a hitch reducer from 2” to 1.25”, and buy another hitch pin I could then secure it properly to my truck. Except for four carriage bolts that secure the base to the receiver, and the one bolt that is used in place of the hitch pin, everything is held together with clips…security while the vehicle and bikes are unattended is nonexistent for me…would have to spend more money for theft prevention. Unfortunately you cannot look at many assembled bike racks in store, you have to buy it, take it home, unpack it, assemble it, find out it doesn’t satisfy your requirements, take it apart, pack it back up, return it to the store… It’s being returned to Canadian Tire!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: The bike rack keeps swaying side to side, from the hitch, is there any way to make it stop and me more tight and stable ?

A: The only way I found was to use, at the hitch location, the screw and tight it firmly, instead of using the pin. There is 2 holes at the bottom hitch, use the one with the threads. And for me in this condition I can live with the movement.
