Love the Brachiosaurus

One of my most anticipated dinosaurs, I'm thrilled they released this. The jeep is GREAT! Good scale, fits the figures comfortably and it looks cool and rugged. I like how the top opens and provides access for bigger fingers. The figures are great. I especially love the Richard Attenborough one and he goes well in other sets like the Natural History Museum or Safari/Jungle themes. I like to pretend he's Johnny Thunder's boss. The tree is good too and a great addition to a scene that requires cool folialge.

Yes, I recommend this product.

"Welcome to Jurassic Park"

Jurassic Park was my favorite childhood movie, so I was ecstatic when a whole line of LEGO sets dedicated to the movie was announced. I really enjoyed building this set. It makes for a great display set, but it would be nice if the tree was a little more filled out. The Jeep looks great. Overall a good representation of this scene from the movie. LEGO, please consider a line of The Lost World: Jurassic Park sets for its 30th anniversary in 2027! We have never had any sets based on that movie, so I’m sure a line for its anniversary in a few years would be an absolute hit!

Yes, I recommend this product.

The BIG Dino

As you can guess, I purchased this primarily for the big brachiosaurus. I won’t lie: I am JUST as happy as I hoped I would be playing with the huge mini(?)fig. I turned into an 8 year-old for awhile and then set my sights on building the car and tree. Both were fun builds that my son directed. Rarely can a Lego figure’s teeth be brushed with a children’s-sized toothbrush: if you were hoping to try this yourself, here’s proof it can be done!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Brachiosaurus Return!

This set was on my list of LEGO to buy when it came out, but due to the higher price I left it for awhile. The fact that this set features the first-ever specifically moulded Brachiosaurus however prompted me to finally purchase it. The build(s) of the signature jeep (and tree) were a great build, but the magnum opus was the gigantic dino! While the price is a bit too high for me, the fact that I can finally display my new Brachiosaurus in my jungle MOC is the major draw. P.S. I had the original Dino, brick-built Brachiosaurs back in the early 2000's, so this was also a major nostalgia-blast for me!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Nostalgic

In 2024, it’s easy to take Lego for granted when sets don’t live up to could have beens or should have beens. I am a huge fan of the original Jurassic park movie as well as Lego and I loved this set for the pure nostalgia in Lego form. It’s definitely expensive for what you get but the jeep and tree are fun builds and the brachiosaurus looks awesome. I wish Dr. Grant had an alternate expression like Ellie does for when they see the Dino for the first time but that is nitpicking. Overall, these 30th anniversary sets hit on the nostalgia for me and that’s all I can ask for! Hoping the Spinosaurus from JP3 is on the horizon…

Yes, I recommend this product.
