Bémol: Le support pourrait être plus solide et ajustable en hauteur. J'ai dû construire une armature en bois pour pouvoir le surélever.
Difficile de trouver le système idéal, donc il faut se débrouiller.

The first one I bought the built-in timer automatically turned off after 12 hours, but would not turn back on. It was returned. The second one, the timer wouldn't turn off.

THIS IS A GREAT GROW LIGHT, IN REFERENCE TO BILL C WHO COULDN'T FIND THE TIMER, IT IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE LIGHT MECHANISM. YOU PUSH A SMALL BUTTON ON IT FOR 12-18 HOURS. THE TIMER IS BUILT IN AND NOT SEPARATE.

NO timer in box, but the light is good

I bought this two weeks ago. I was advertised as a grow light with timer. While the light itself works well, there was NO timer, but just a simple manual rotary on/off switch. The picture of the power cord on the instructions did NOT match what was in the box. So if you want a timer, don't get this. If you're okay with a manual switch, it's a good light

Q: How long is the bulb supposed to last? I've only had this on during the day for about a month and the bulb is all of a sudden emitting very little light. Google says it should run for 10000 hours! What do I replace it with? Is it just called T5?

A: Hi yes should last much longer than that. My previous unit lasted 6 seasons. Yes canadiantire.ca has T5 bulbs. Usually a good product. Hope this helps.

A: I don't have this product but I would say since it is fluorescent there is no way that you could grow from seed to ripe tomato or pepper fruit under this light. You could definitely get them started but they would likely be leggy. We are very happy with our LED lights that we purchased when our fluorescent light fixtures quit working. Maybe a little more expensive to purchase (but not much). Very inexpensive to run. Incredibly lightweight. I wish Canadian Tire had more LED grow light options.

A: Hello Gardengirl, I've used this grow light to overwinter plants for two winters. With the light at the highest it can go, I have plants in pots measuring 12 and 20 inches across that are adequately lit but they do need to be turned occasionally. Hope that helps!
