    Do Not Buy

    I bought this thermostat in December. It was horrible to set up, but once I got through that it seemed to work fine until last weekend. I woke up to a cold house. It stopped following the programmed schedule. I spent over an hour with Honeywell tech support and they could not get it working. Do Not Purchase ANY Honeywell product. They do not stand by their own products. Tech support is a joke.

    Piece of Garbage

    If you can get it connected to wi-fi, good luck keeping it connected. I regret this purchase and the time wasted configuring over and over and over. This is thing is a polished t*rd designed to lure in those wanting to save a little money. Constant low battery message and repeated disconnections are worth a zero star review. It does nothing your old mercury thermostat wasn't already doing better.

    Hi jackie27! Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The Lyric Round is a power stealing thermostat and sometimes it can be unable to properly get enough power from your HVAC system. This can be resolved by connecting a common wire to the thermostat from your system that will provide a constant 24 VAC power supply. We'd happy to help you with this if you need further assistance.     Terrible Thermostat

    (1) The set up did not go as the book stated. And the app is not user friendly. (2) Once on the wall and connected to wifi the signal would drop....constantly. I ensured my wifi was setup properly per the online support/FAQ/ (3) Honeywell support was ZERO help. 50 minutes on hold and one painful tech support chat later they just walked me through the wifi setup which I had already done 15 plus times. I finally exchanged the product thinking it was faulty. Second one did the same thing. Absolute pain to switch 2 thermostats and now I still have one that does not function how it should.

    Looks great and support is terrific

    Got this unit on sale and found it easy to install. I was able to answer the few questions I had online and using the supplied app. I shouldn't admit this, but I dropped the first one while installing it and broke the glass face. Can Tire exchanged it for a new one without a question. FYI make sure you get both screws sunk in past the faceplate when installing or the electronic bit with the glass face will not snap firmly in place. Honeywell technical support answered two further questions regarding the C wire and the ability to run my humidifier (yes it can!) within hours of me e-mailing them. A software update came through (automatically, sweet!) within the first week that allows more programming features, which is awesome. To top it all off, Enbridge is offering a $100 rebate for installing a smart thermostat, only until December 31st 2016. Why did I hang on to my mercury stat for so long? Maybe so I could get this little guy up on my wall!

    Yes, I recommend this product.
