Do NOT buy!

Product came damaged; scratches, dents and broken latch. And to make it worse the product does not heat over 130 sq feet as advertised and the glass cracked itself while testing !
The heat radius is barely 3 feet.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Damaged Goods

We bought this heater and were super excited to pick it up! We opened the box and it seemed ok; however, as we unpacked all the parts it looked used! The base and the control panel were heavily scratched and dented. For the price, it should have been in perfect
condition! We returned it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Pretty, but....

Very dissatisfied with this product. Looks beautiful and we thought it would add significant heat, based on the BTU’s and design. Not so. Standing immediately next to the the unit was the only way to feel any heat, forget feeling warmth when sitting on the patio. Self ignition failed to operate after four uses. Screws rusty after three weeks being outside. Returned yesterday and customer service was superior. No issue. Cost far exceeded the value for this unit.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Excellent heater if you can get it at a discount

We were able to get two of these at a sale price last year and couldn't be happier with them! Yes, there were minor scratches on the paint out of the box, but at night when it's dark and flames are lit, you don't notice it! Also, we noticed the same heaters being used at The Victor, which is one of the best Steak Houses in Vancouver! So I know they are up to the task for home use.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: This is our second year with the heater. Last year, no problems. This year a weak, tiny flame when set on high, and not adjustable. Full propane tank, connected properly. Any ideas on where to troubleshoot this problem?

Q: I read in the instruction book after I made the purchase do not use on a wood deck, I already purchased this and my deck is wood.I think you should let people know this before they make the purchase.So I shouldn't use it on my wooden deck ?

A: Paulie, This patio heater may be used on a wood deck as long as the surface is flat and level. A composite deck is where there might be a concern. It must be 10 ft away from all combustible materials in a well ventilated outside area. It is not recommended to be near plants or shrubs or within 10 ft of a painted surface. The 50,000 BTU output, if used at high heat, is quite strong and needs the surrounding clear area for safety. Q: The gas is burning black and leaving soot on the inside of the glass, and on the cover and tops of the grill guard. Have changed propane and tanks and suppliers. How do I fix?
